Spot on - Charter Day in Basking Ridge - May 15, 2010 Celebrating Bernards Township's 250th Anniversary, Charter Day commemorates the anniversary of King George II of England granting the township charter in 1760, the Charter of Bernardston. We know Charter Day to be a fantastic street fair in downtown Basking Ridge with area businesses, amusements and street food, battle of the bands, student art show, demonstrations and performances, and an evening concert.
